Fisher Houses are beautiful homes, donated to the military and Department of Veterans Affairs. These homes enable family members to be close to a loved one at the most stressful time-during the hospitalization for a combat injury, illness or disease.

Clay Family Dealerships Donate $10,000 to The Fisher House of Boston INC
Continued Partnership Honored During “Veterans Appreciation Month”

Norwood, MA – December 12, 2013: Clay Family Dealerships are proud to announce that they have raised over $10,000 for The Fisher House Boston, through their "Veterans Appreciation Month" sales promotion.

Clay Family Dealerships – which includes Clay Nissan of Newton, Clay Nissan of Norwood, Clay Subaru of Norwood, Clay Chevrolet of Norwood, and Clay Hyundai of Norwood – invited their customers and community to join them this past November in a month-long promotion supporting members of the military and their families.

Throughout the entire month, for each vehicle sold at Clay’s dealership locations, $50 was reserved for The Fisher House of Boston INC, donation. The sales promotion resulted in a total donation sum of $10,000.

“We are extremely grateful for the continued support that we receive from The Clay Family Dealerships,” said Jen DeLuca, Executive Director of The Fisher House Boston. “The generous support provided with this donation will undoubtedly aid veterans and military families who heavily rely on our organization’s services.”

The Fisher House of Boston INC, is located at the VA Boston Healthcare Medical facility in West Roxbury, and was the 46th Fisher House to be built in the country.

The Fisher House of Boston INC, is located in West Roxbury, on the grounds of the VA Boston Healthcare System’s West Roxbury campus, is a home away from home where military families can stay while a loved one is receiving in house treatment at the nearby VA Medical Center. Any family member or loved one of a veteran or active military personnel, wartime or peacetime, is eligible to stay at no charge. Fisher House is a Four Star Charity, with an A+ rating.
